  1. Deadlines

    2. Plenary lecturers and thematic session lecturers should send (or update) the title and abstract through the registration form no later than May 31, 2023.
    The acceptance notifications (Contributed Lecture ) will be sent by June 05, 2023.
    To send the booking information: June 23, 2023.
    For reservation of the shuttle service for speakers from/to airport and Ribeirão Preto: June 23, 2023.

  2. How to register

    3. Please fill in or complete your on-line registration form via https://dcm.ffclrp.usp.br/isaac/

    The registration fees are structured as follows:

    registration fee (ISAAC members) 70 euros (if paid before 31/05/2023)
    registration fee (ISAAC members) 90 euros (from 01/06/2023 on)
    registration fee (non-members) 80 euros (if paid before 31/05/2023)
    registration fee (non-members) 100 euros (from 01/06/2023 on)
    Student Fee and participants from developing countries (please see the link List of Countries): 40 euros (200 reais).

    The registration fee covers the usual expenses (conference materials, schedules of talks, coffee breaks etc.)

  4. Abstract submission

    5. All Participants, who are interested in delivering a talk at the 14th International ISAAC Congress, are kindly requested to observe the following instructions for preparation of their abstracts:

    1. Abstracts should be written in Latex, up to 300 words (about three quarters of one page in 11pt LaTeX article style). Use only standard commands provided by amsfonts and amssymb packages;
    2. There should be no references and no drawings or footnotes;
    3. Language: English only.
    4. Deadline for submitting abstracts is May 31, 2023.
      Abstracts should be submitted via the online registration page.
    5. The acceptance notifications for Contributed Lecture will be sent by June 5, 2023.

  5. Hotel Information

    6. Special rates in the hotels will be available for the participants.
    In case you need some help of the local organisers, please complete your booking details in your on-line registration form.
    The deadline to send us your booking details is June 23, 2023, subject to availability.
    After this date we cannot guarantee your reservation.

  6. Travel Information

    7. The participants should plan to arrive at Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo (GRU) or at Viracopos Airport in Campinas. We will organize a shuttle service for participants from/to these airports and Ribeirão Preto. Please fill in your on-line registration form, where you will find the shuttles schedule, with the information about your travel details by June 23, 2023.

    Alternatively, public transportation is available from both airports.

    1) From GRU Airport (São Paulo): Take the "Airport Service Bus" (https://www.airportbusservice.com.br) from the airport to "Tiete Bus Station" ("Rodoviaria do Tiete").

    At "Tiete Bus Station" take a bus to Ribeirão Preto. The bus service from São Paulo to Ribeirão Preto is provided by "Viacao Cometa" (http://www.viacaocometa.com.br).

    2) From Viracopos International Airport (Campinas): Take a bus, operated by "Lirabus" (https://www.lirabus.com.br), from the airport to Campinas Bus Station ("Rodoviaria de Campinas"). At the bus station take a bus to Ribeirão Preto.

    The bus service from Campinas to Ribeirão Preto is provided by "Viacao Cometa" (http://www.viacaocometa.com.br).

    One may find few direct flights from Guarulhos airport to Ribeirão Preto. There are also flights from Congonhas airport (São Paulo city), Viracopos Airport ( in Campinas), Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro to Ribeirão Preto.

  7. Additional support

    8. The ISAAC Society reserved ten grants of R$2000 reais (around 400 euros) each to support young researchers or PhD students without own financial support.
    Interested candidates should send the following documents

    1. Curriculum Vitae;
    2. title and abstract of their proposed talk, plus confirmation of acceptation from the correspondent session organiser;
    3. list of expected expenses; to 14thisaac_congress@usp.br under the reference “ISAAC - request of support” until March 31, 2023. Notification of the support granted will be given by April 15, 2023.
