RESUMO
In this talk, we will present several plate models, and compare the influence of the roots
of the full symbol in the linear estimates, applied to study semlinear forward Cauchy problems
in the whole n-dimensional space. A special emphasis is given to the role played by
the rotational inertia term, and to what changes when it is added or not to the equation.
